We are seeking an experienced temporary adjunct faculty member in Special Education to teach graduate-level courses at Cambridge College Puerto Rico, San Patricio Campus. The position requires bilingual fluency (Spanish and English), expertise in Special Education, and a strong record of teaching and leadership in higher education or educational systems.

Course Delivery : At Cambridge College Puerto Rico, courses are offered in a dual-language format (Spanish and English). English is the primary language for course design and presentation, while Spanish is the main instructional language. Candidates must be fluent in both languages.

Schedule & Location : Courses are delivered in a hybrid format on weekends, at pre-scheduled dates and times, on our San Patricio, Puerto Rico Campus.

Requirements :

Doctoral degree with a specialization in Special Education, Autism Spectrum Disorders, or Special Education Administration from a recognized and accredited U.S. higher education graduate institution.

Four (4) or more years of experience teaching at the higher education level in the field of Special Education, or four (4) or more years of supervisory experience in high-level educational systems (e.g., school district or state-level leadership roles).

Demonstrated experience teaching with Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably Canvas.

Evidence of being current and updated in the field of Special Education, including knowledge of recent research, policies, and best practices.

Graduate-level teaching experience and a record of scholarly publications or professional contributions in Special Education are highly desirable.

Note : Candidates with only a master's degree will not be considered, as the Cambridge College Puerto Rico programs are graduate-level.
