Position Overview

The Genetics Product Management Intern will support the Marketing, Sales, and Medical Affairs teams in developing key materials and initiatives to drive customer engagement and education. Responsibilities will include assisting in the creation of guidelines review group / methodology, contributing to a KOL (Key Opinion Leader) engagement strategy, and helping to develop educational resources for both internal and external stakeholders. This role provides hands-on experience working cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while supporting high-impact projects that directly influence commercial effectiveness.

Essential Duties

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Medical Affairs teams to develop tools that support strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of a guidelines review group, including preparation of meeting materials and documentation.
  • Support the development of a KOL engagement strategy, including research, tracking, and coordination of outreach efforts.
  • Contribute to the creation of educational resources for healthcare providers, sales teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct background research and compile insights to inform content development.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment of messaging and materials.
  • Assist with tracking project timelines and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and / or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Genetics, Genetic Counseling, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Pre-Med, or another related medical / life sciences field.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without current or future sponsorship.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship, research, or academic experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, or Healthcare Communication.
  • Familiarity with genetics, rare disease, or precision medicine concepts.
  • Experience creating presentations, reports, or educational materials.
  • Ability to synthesize scientific / technical information into clear and engaging content.
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving ability in a professional or academic setting.
