RN - Tele - Local Contract

Our client is seeking a Telemetry RN for a fast-paced role at a Medical Center in East Orange, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience while working with patients in critical condition who require continuous monitoring and care.\n\nJob Function\n

• Day Shift.\n
• 7 : 00AM - 7 : 30PM.\n
• Performs comprehensive assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs.\n
• Identifies and addresses nursing and discharge needs; evaluates and adjusts care plans as needed.\n
• Accurately transcribes and carries out physician orders; administers medications following the 5 "rights".\n
• Initiates and manages IV therapy; prioritizes and manages time effectively.\n
• Coordinates patient care across departments (e.g., lab, radiology) and with Case Managers to support efficient discharge and continuity of care.\n\nJob Requirements\n
• 2 years or more experience, in an acute care setting preferred.\n
• Graduate of an accredited program in nursing.\n
• Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of NJ.\n
