Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist skilled in C-arm and O-arm coverage in surgical settings, with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT certification.

Responsibilities

  • Work across a mix of inpatient, outpatient, Operating Room, and Level I Trauma settings
  • Primary focus on X-ray procedures in the surgical environment, including intraoperative imaging support
  • Utilize C-arm and O-arm technology for surgical interventions
  • Shifts are either 5x8 or 4x10, 2nd shift, starting at 10 : 00 or 11 : 00 AM, with some call responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with surgical and medical teams to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to established safety protocols
  • Participate in ongoing education and training programs
  • Level I Trauma experience preferred
  • Locals are accepted at the same pay rate
  • Former employees must be away from the facility for at least 6 months to be eligible
  • Current employees are not eligible for travel positions at this location
  • Must provide 2 professional references, including at least one from a supervisor or leader
  • Time off requests must be submitted during initial application
  • All candidates must complete required fingerprinting promptly upon contract signing

    • Requirements

  • Active Radiologic Technologist certification with ARRT registration
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an X-ray tech, preferably in a Level I Trauma or academic teaching hospital
  • Proficient with C-arm and O-arm systems and intraoperative imaging procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • License required if applicable
