The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online Music tutors nationally. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students.
  • Accept on-demand tutoring requests when available.
  • Deliver engaging, personalized instruction that aligns with each student’s goals.
  • Utilize the Live Learning Platform to conduct sessions remotely without commuting.

What We Look For In a Tutor

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Expertise in Music and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.

    • Benefits and How You’ll Get Paid

  • Base contract rates start at $18 / hour and increase for specialized subjects; you can earn up to $40 / hour with consistent sessions with the same student.
  • Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct.
  • Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
  • Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
  • We handle logistics—you invoice for your tutoring sessions, and we take care of payments.

    Our mission is to transform the way people learn by leveraging advanced technology, AI, and the latest in learning science to create personalized learning experiences. Through 1-on-1 Online Tutoring, students receive customized instruction that helps them achieve their learning goals.

    Note : Varsity Tutors does not currently contract with tutors in : Alaska, California, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, or Puerto Rico.
