Responsibilities Work in a Labor & Delivery unit of a large hospital setting Care for high-risk pregnancy patients Day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., three days per week 13-week contract assignment Uses Epic EMR system May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital Provide thorough assessments and direct patient care for obstetric patients Perform and document pre- and post-operative assessments and patient education Demonstrate competency in emergency procedures and the use of emergency equipment Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all patient interactions Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals and universal protocols Compliance with required background and drug screening timelines is necessary Requirements Active NJ or compact RN license Minimum of 2 years recent travel nursing experience in large hospital Labor & Delivery settings with high-risk pregnancies Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred Experience with Epic EMR preferred Must live at least 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates) Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625106.
