About The Position

Job Title : Radiology Tech

Profession : Allied

Specialty : Radiology Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8hr Night Shift

Hours per Shift : 40

Experience : Minimum of 1 year

License : BLS, ARRT-R

Certifications : None specified

Must-Have :

  • Confident clinical skill sets
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high patient acuity environment
  • Good communication skills and a helpful, teamwork-oriented attitude

Description : About the facility :

  • Licensed beds : 874
  • Level 1 Trauma and Level 1 Pediatric Trauma
  • Teaching Hospital
  • Chest Pain Center
  • Stroke Center

    • Department Information :

  • Average patients per day : 350-400
  • Will accept first-time travelers

    • Patient Types / Common Diagnoses :

  • Adults and Pediatrics from various settings including ED, ICUs, Nursing Units, and outpatient services
  • Full spectrum of radiology exams and diagnoses

    • Support within the Department :

  • All departments have a lead tech, modality supervisor, and Imaging Manager
  • Diverse team with various years of experience from new graduates to long-tenured teammates

    • Technology / Equipment :

  • EMR : EPIC
  • Department-specific Equipment : Shimadzu RadSpeed general radiology room, Intelli-C multipurpose, Konica and Shimadzu portables, GE and Siemens R / F rooms

    • Scheduling :

  • No rotations between weekends and weekdays
  • Travelers will work shifts as per the contract without rotation
  • Call requirement varies and is shared equally among team members
  • Holiday coverage expectations apply unless approved in advance
