Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Clerk for a full-time position in the Airport area of El Paso, TX. This role involves coordinating inventory, managing shipments, processing documents, and working with customs brokers to ensure timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Maintain accurate inventory of client commodities in the warehouse.
- Resolve discrepancies between items received, stored, and shipped.
- Arrange trucking and shipping of client merchandise.
- Calculate handling, receiving, and shipping charges for billing purposes.
- Prepare and process shipping documents (bills of lading, shipper's instructions, certificates of origin).
- Coordinate customs processes with brokers to ensure timely freight delivery.
