Job Title : UI / UX Developer

Location : McLean VA

Duration : 6 months contract

Client : Direct Client

Rate : $40 / hr on W2

Roles and responsibilities :

Minimum Qualifications :

The candidate needs to have at least Bachelor's degree and 9 years of related IT work experience.

Must be able to obtain a USPS Sensitive Clearance.

7+ years of experience working in web application development

Extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, including CSS driven layout and debugging for rapid development; experience with development and test tools such as Firebug

The candidate would need some familiarity with Oracle and PL / SQL, and object oriented concepts.

Strong written and verbal communications skills

Experience with Agile methodology and working within Agile methodology and working within Agile development teams.

Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility (Section 508) and usability.

Preferred Qualifications :

Understanding of HTML5 concepts like use of a local data store

Capability to work with customers to shape and implement a strong User Experience.

Experience with hybrid mobile development (Cordova / PhoneGap) a plus.

Experience with iOS mobile development with XCode / Swift a plus.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 9 years of related IT work experience.
