\n\nPCU Registered Nurse Job Details\n \n

  • Location : Woonsocket, Rhode Island 02895 (Rhode Island nursing jobs)\n
  • Healthcare Setting : Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Med / Surg Telemetry\n
  • Assignment Type : Travel Nursing\n
  • Start Date : November 17, 2025\n
  • End Date : February 15, 2026\n
  • Contract Duration : 13 weeks\n
  • Nursing Shift : 12-hour days (06 : 45 AM – 07 : 15 PM), every other weekend required\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,680 – $1,800\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active RN license (Rhode Island compact state preferred)\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac care experience, including post-cath patient care\n
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications (required prior to assignment)\n
  • EPIC EMR experience required\n
  • Submission must include : Cover Sheet, Resume, Skills Checklist, 2 References, License / Certification Verification, and Nursys Report (within 30 days)\n

    • \n\nPCU Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac and post-cath patients in the PCU and Med / Surg Telemetry units\n
  • Float between Progressive Care Unit and Med / Surg Tele units as needed\n
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans\n
  • Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR\n
  • Participate in weekend and night shift rotations as scheduled\n
