As the Access Strategy Leader (ASL) in the Diagnostics Global Access & Policy (GA&P) function, you will be part of the highly motivated Access Strategy Chapter and will be responsible for co-creating integrated global access strategies to maximize the value and access of our pipeline and overall diagnostics portfolio.
The Opportunity
Act as Global Access & Policy functional partner within the Life Cycle Management Team, defining, leading and managing multiple strategic access projects across assigned lifecycle team(s) to ensure the highest quality, relevant, on-time and within budget deliverables throughout the product development cycle.
Collaborate closely with other GA&P chapters members, the Global Commercial and Clinical Development & Medical Affairs (CDMA) teams, regions and affiliates advocating for the "Access by Design" mindset, driving Access product strategy creation, delivering key insights and materials needed to support integrated strategic plans, shaping the co-creation of the integrated evidence plans, strategic pricing for high medical value solutions and capabilities training.
Lead by influence a disease area Pod within GA&P, co-creating access deliverables which incorporate diverse stakeholder perspectives such as, patients, HTA bodies, payers, policy makers, Research & Development, Business and Roche affiliates to successfully impact our company's 10-year ambition to double patient access and to reduce time of reimbursement in 50%.
Deploy global Access strategies, with its collateral deliverables, educating and supporting affiliates and regions. Measure business impact through patient access, reimbursement and positive health policy and funding allocation.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in business, health economics, life sciences, public health or a related discipline; MBA or other Graduate or higher-level Degree in science, business or a related discipline is preferred.
5 years of previous access working experience in the sequencing oncology diagnostic or related industry. Multidisciplinary experience working in a variety of functions, within and beyond Access, with experience at both affiliate and global levels are preferred.
Significant experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a matrix team environment; successful stakeholders management, budget planning and negotiation skills.
Agile leadership skills (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach) to motivate and lead a diverse multicultural team, fostering a psychological safety environment, are essential.
Strategist, highly motivated, self-organized, self-driven and fluent in English.
Location : This is a hybrid role, and candidates may be based in our Pleasanton (preferred), Carlsbad, Tucson, or Indianapolis offices.
This role is graded between SE7 - SE8, however, the final grade will be evaluated on an individual basis.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Pleasanton, CA is $132,900 - $305,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
