Pyramid Consulting is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a nursing job in Lagrange, Georgia.

Job Description :

Proactively plans for the care of patients across the care continuum in the course of giving direct patient care.

Participates in the development of protocols and procedures when called upon or through self-initiation in collaboration with care managers and other members of the health care team to achieve best practice outcomes (i.e., decrease in re-admission rates; avoidable days; adverse events; etc).

Supports efficient and effective use of human and material resources.

  • Performs other duties as assigned Complies with Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

    • Teamwork and Collaboration :

  • Coordinate patient care delivery with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Foster a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative clinical environment.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to promote safe, quality care.

    • Professional Development and Initiative :

  • Complete all mandatory professional education and competency assessments.
  • Serve as a mentor or preceptor for other staff members and nurses, promoting a qualified workforce and healthy work environment.

    • Evidence-Based Practice and Research :

  • Participate in evidence-based practices and research to continuously improve patient care.
  • Uphold policies and clinical competencies in line with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
  • Contribute to the data collection process, support clinical inquiries, and integrate new evidence into practice.

    • Resources and Support :

  • Plan and manage patient care effectively across the care continuum.
  • Collaborate in the development of care protocols to improve outcomes such as reduced readmission rates.
  • Ensure efficient and effective use of resources, including materials and staff.

    • Required Minimum Education :

  • Diploma from an accredited nursing program Graduate of an accredited / approved school of nursing Required and
  • Bachelor's Degree Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing Preferred

    • Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s) :

    All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

  • Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact
  • Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ACLS - Instructor or ACLS - Provisional

    • Required Minimum Experience :

  • Minimum 5 years direct patient care experience preferred
