• Provide skilled and compassionate nursing care to hospice patients in their homes or hospice facilities\n
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized end-of-life care plans\n
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team including physicians, social workers, chaplains, and aides\n
• Administer medications, manage symptoms, and perform wound care as needed\n
• Offer emotional and educational support to patients and families regarding disease progression and comfort measures\n
• Accurately document visits and maintain compliance with hospice standards and agency protocols\n
• Participate in on-call rotations as assigned and ensure timely communication of patient status changes\n\nEducation & Certification Requirements : \n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN)license in Idaho (or compact state license)\n
• Current AHA BLS certification\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Hospice RN experience required\n
• Strong understanding of hospice philosophy, pain management, and symptom control\n
