About the Team :

The Engine Manufacturing team is dedicated to delivering high-performance engines and advancing innovative manufacturing systems that continuously improve cost, quality, and lead time. You're not just executing on designs; you actively provide input that shapes new hardware iterations and regularly interface with engineers to make critical decisions for the Aeon R program. Having successfully developed and refined processes for our initial development engines, the team is now focused on producing flight engines at rate for Terran R's aggressive launch manifest.

About the Role :

• Have end-to-end hardware manufacturing ownership of Terran R turbopumps in a fast-paced, and sometimes ambiguous development environment.
• Provide active on the floor support for 2nd shift technicians by removing blockers and ensuring turbopump builds maintain schedule.
• Investigate and resolve hardware non-conformances and drive implementation of corrective actions.
• Design tooling and fixtures for assembly and component test of turbomachinery hardware.
• Collaborate with design engineers, test engineers, technicians, and internal machine shop for hardware development, manufacturing, test, and scalability for high volume production.
• Work closely with technicians to improve the build flow and frequently trouble shoot discrepancies in the build process.

Hiring Range :

$112,000—$143,000 USD
