A company is looking for an Underwriter III to manage and review loan files for compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage individual pipeline by completing underwriting and appraisal reviews within defined turn times
Identify document deficiencies, add conditions, and request additional information from customers
Assist department colleagues in interpreting underwriting guidelines and updating loan statuses
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in the mortgage industry or residential mortgage loan underwriting
High school diploma required
Advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry and applicable regulatory compliance
Familiarity with FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products and Encompass
