JOB OVERVIEW
Under guidance, the Microsoft 365 (M365) Solutions Engineer designs, plans, implements, and manages the ACGME’s M365 cloud environment and Digital Transformation initiative, as well as its primary core applications (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate, Exchange, Copilot), with a focus of optimizing collaboration, automation, and productivity across the organization. The Engineer collaborates with technology vendors, IT security and networking teams, and other teams to ensure solutions adhere to ACGME policy and applicable governance. The primary responsibilities require the Microsoft 365 Solutions Engineer to assess stakeholder needs, research appropriate technology, test solutions, create project plans, and implement modern workplace applications and technologies in an enterprise environment. The Engineer also delivers quality solutions, training, and documentation. This position serves in a technical advisory role for the organization and will continually seek opportunities to improve processes. This position also provides support for third-party applications including, but not limited to, Qualtrics and Lucid Suite.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Configures, implements, supports, and manages enterprise digital workplace technologies (endpoint, software, M365 services, and SaaS tools).
- Executes digital workplace technology projects.
- Monitors technology trends and seeks ways to enhance continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implements and maintains modern workplace technologies in an enterprise environment.
- Drives strategic digital workplace initiatives, such as Microsoft 365 apps (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Copilot, Exchange, and Power Platform), Qualtrics, and other software technology (on-prem and SaaS).
- Works closely key department stakeholders to define, plan, and deploy enterprise applications and solutions.
- Maintains knowledge of new technologies and platforms; provides direction on what emerging technologies should be assimilated and integrated.
- Creates technical documentation and manuals, including updating current policies and creating new documentation on procedures, policies, and Power Automate flows.
- Creates and delivers end user training and workshops.
- Provides top-level IT support and works with vendor support as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONSMinimum
At least five years of advanced experience and technical knowledge in the following :M365 platform, including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Online
SharePoint page designManaging Microsoft Teams (permissions, app integrations, meetings, when to use general or private channels, etc.)File sharing in Teams, SharePoint, and OneDriveSharePoint lists and viewsM365 Security Permissions and GroupsEntra ID and user group managementSharePoint Online and Teams best practices for security, permissions, management, and governanceExchange online administration, including permissions, policies, mail routing, security (phishing, malware)Exchange and outlook troubleshooting and support escalationPower Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Platform GovernanceExperience with Copilot for M365 and PurviewMust be an independent worker and be able to solve problems and prioritize tasks with minimum supervision.Must be able to manage small projects independently.Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.Experience with Qualtrics.Experience with automation technologies.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL SETS, AND ABILITIES
