POSITION SUMMARY
The Onsite Consultant is responsible for providing professional and responsive service to onsite customers in environments including production, mailroom, shipping and / or retail services. The Onsite Consultant may regularly interface with customers at all levels inside the venue or organization and must meet customer requests and contract requirements. Depending on the onsite environment, the Onsite Consultant performs functions including operating computers and equipment, moving boxes and equipment, stocking supplies, managing projects, writing and filling out forms, sorting and collating papers, completing assigned tasks based on priority, following supervisor instructions, and communicating effectively with team members. The Onsite Consultant may have extensive interaction with customers and must deliver a positive customer experience, utilizing consultative skills to anticipate needs, suggest alternatives and provide solutions. The Onsite Consultant works with minimal instruction and supervision and interacts daily with customers, managers, team members and vendors to accomplish established business objectives.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Follows FedEx Office standard operating procedures and adheres to legal, HR, safety and security policies and procedures
- Follow instructions of supervisors and assist other team members in performing onsite functions
- Meet onsite guidelines and policies (safety training, background check and other requirements)
- Keep the working premises neat and free from clutter, maximizing safety and efficiency
- Maintain high levels of customer service and use sound judgment to resolve issues; escalate to supervisor as needed
- Provide customer service and problem solving with minimal supervision
- Perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Assist in training onsite team members
- Maintain confidentiality of customer data and careful handling of documents, media, and packages
- Perform administrative duties, including ordering supplies and inventory control
- Collaborate with office and print locations to produce customer work and fulfill needs
PRODUCTION
Produce complex orders, prioritize production, perform quality checks and coordinate pick-ups and deliveriesOperate Digital and Signs & Graphics printers, binding and other equipmentMonitor production flow to ensure orders are done right and on timeEnsure quality during and after productionSet up, operate and perform maintenance on production equipmentProduce work in accordance with LEAN principles to achieve Done Right On Time resultsSHIPPING & MAILROOM
Coordinate all mail and shipping related services and activitiesPick up and deliver packages and mail within the onsiteMove packages with appropriate equipment and assistance as neededAssemble packages and prepare goods for shipping, including wrapping, weighing and labelingOperate and maintain an automatic mail processing machine for outbound mailAdvise customers on shipping methods, products, routes and ratesSort and prepare packages for pickup or delivery to designated stopsUtilize a tracking system to log receipt and release of packagesUse pallet jacks and other large package handling equipmentInvestigate packages and mail with unknown recipientsRETAIL
Provide friendly, professional service with consultative behaviorApply expertise in printing, signs and graphics, and shipping to recommend FedEx Office products and servicesAnticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and deliver solutionsAccurately take complex orders, including pricing informationManage bid follow-up and consult on complex ordersApply knowledge of onsite pricing and contractual obligationsOperate the Point of Sale terminal and process financial transactions, if applicablePerform other duties as neededMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
