Security Officer - Armed Aero / Defense Driver

As a Security Officer - Armed Aero / Defense Driver in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense and more. As an Allied Universal team member supporting a leading aerospace and defense location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. In this armed and driving post, you will use your expertise to help to deter security-related incidents and respond promptly to any situations that arise. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible to the public, and providing outstanding customer service through clear and professional communication. You will be part of a collaborative team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $28.92 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeMon02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PMSun06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or hold a college degree.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and / or local regulations.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Hold a valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements if the position involves driving.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
