Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications :

Must have a Journey Plumber License (State of Michigan)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential, commercial, and / or industrial plumbing is required.
Thorough understanding of plumbing systems, codes, regulations, and installation techniques.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and maneuvering in various work environments.

Responsibilities :

Install and repair various plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and gas systems, in accordance with local building codes and safety regulations.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to determine layout and installation requirements.

Assemble, install, and maintain various plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and water heaters.

Inspect plumbing systems for leaks, defects, and other issues, diagnosing problems and making necessary repairs or adjustments.

Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians, HVAC technicians, and carpenters, to ensure proper integration of plumbing systems with other building components.
