The Triage Technician is responsible for triaging patients as they arrive for treatments and providing medical support across departments as needed.
With the clinic’s growth into additional buildings and expanded treatment offerings, this role serves as a key support in maintaining patient flow, assisting practitioners, and ensuring quality care.
Key Responsibilities :
Warmly greet patients and accurately record vitals in the patient chart
Document all necessary information and activities in the patient chart
Ensure patients are on time for their appointments and ready for treatment
Maintain confidentiality of all patient information and direct questions appropriately to practitioners
Notify practitioners, RNs, or modality / IV technicians when patients are ready for treatment
Sanitize and wipe down equipment after each use
Maintain cleanliness and safety in hallways and common patient areas
Assist with the delivery of modalities / treatments once trained
Adhere to professional standards, policies, and all applicable regulations
Support a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following established protocols Qualifications :
Minimum of 2 years of previous medical experience
Familiarity with medical terminology
Strong communication and patient service skills
Passion for helping people and supporting a patient-centered environment
Prior experience in alternative or integrative medicine is a plus Education and / or Experience :
High School Diploma or GED (required)
2+ years in a healthcare setting
Knowledge of medical terminology Language Skills :
Must be fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills Physical Demands :
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
Must be able to move between clinic buildings and navigate stairs as needed Hours :
Full-time, minimum of 37.5 hours per week
Monday through Friday Compensation : $20 - $21 per hour Benefits :
