Overview : \n\nWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team. The RN will provide exceptional care to expectant mothers, their newborns, and families throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. This role requires a strong clinical skill set, effective communication, and the ability to respond calmly in high-pressure situations.\n\nType of Opportunity : Full Time\nFTE : 0.900000\nExempt : No\nWork Schedule : 12 Hour Nights 7p-7a\n\nSign on and relocation bonuses available for qualified candidates.\n\nHow you grow, learn and thrive matters here.\nEducational and career development options, including tuition and certification reimbursement, scholarship opportunities\nStaff Safety (a wearable badge that allows nurses to quickly and discreetly call for help when safety is a concern)\nShift differentials for nights and weekends\nDifferentials for higher education, certifications and various lead roles\nMalpractice liability insurance\nLoan forgiveness through the New Mexico Higher Education Department\nEPIC electronic charting system\n\nResponsibilities : \n\nPatient Care : Assess, monitor, and manage the physical and emotional well-being of patients during labor, delivery, and recovery.\nFetal Monitoring : Perform and interpret fetal heart rate monitoring and other diagnostic tests to ensure maternal and fetal health.\nCollaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals during deliveries, including assisting with cesarean sections or emergency procedures.\nProvide care and education to new mothers on breastfeeding, infant care, and postpartum recovery.\nAdminister prescribed medications, IV fluids, and epidurals while monitoring for any adverse reactions.\nRespond quickly to obstetric emergencies, including hemorrhage, fetal distress, or neonatal complications.
