• Function as a Circulator RN in the Operating Room, coordinating and delivering patient care throughout the surgical process\n
• Prepare the OR for procedures by ensuring necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and sterile\n
• Assist surgical teams during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment\n
• Monitor patients' vital signs and condition throughout the surgery and report any changes\n
• Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and comfort\n
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards\n
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia staff, scrub techs, and other members of the surgical team\n\nEducation & Certification Requirements : \n
• Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico (or compact license)\n
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required\n
• CNOR certification a plus\n
• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)\n
