Duties :
Provide direct care and support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilitiesImplement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviorsAdminister medication according to prescribed guidelines and maintain accurate recordsEnsure the safety and well-being of individuals at all timesMaintain a clean and organized living environmentDocument individual progress and communicate effectively with team membersTaking client to community activities(local gym, library, museum,YMCA)Transporting client from workThis client is strictly Community Based SupportsLooking for an individual to engage with client inside and outside of the home, movies, museum, zoo, park aquarium, malls etcQualifications :
Experience or education in social work or a related field is preferredKnowledge of autism spectrum disorders and behavior management techniquesAbility to follow medication administration protocols and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulationsExperience working with children or in a childcare setting is a plusPhysical ability to lift and transfer individuals as neededValid driver's license and reliable transportation for transporting individuals to appointments or activitiesFirst aid and CPR certification is mandatoryThis position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and have a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Full-Time : 7-8 Hours Daily
30-40 hours Weekly
Monday-Friday
