Business Operations Analyst II

Modivcare is looking for an experienced Business Operations Analyst II to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing business processes, and delivering data-driven insights across our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) operations. You will combine analytical expertise with a practical understanding of service workflows to improve outcomes for members, clients, and transportation providers.
This Role
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets operational and financial data to uncover trends, issues, and opportunities.
- Develops dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including trip completion rates, on-time performance, call center metrics, and cost efficiency.
- Provides actionable insights and strategic recommendations to leadership to inform operational decisions.
- Maps, evaluates, and optimizes end-to-end business processes including scheduling, dispatching, provider management, and member support.
- Identifies operational gaps or inefficiencies and recommends solutions for improvement or automation.
- Partners with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and best practices.
- Collaborates with IT, Finance, and Operations on system enhancements and special projects.
- Supports the rollout of new tools and technologies, including testing and documentation.
- Documents requirements, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure alignment on solutions.
- Supports client-facing teams with reporting, compliance documentation, and insights.
We Are Interested In Speaking With Individuals With The Following
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required; CPA certification or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in business analysis, operations analysis, or a related field.Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.Well-organized with strong documentation and time-management skills.Experience in transportation, healthcare, logistics, or NEMT preferred.Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), call center platforms, or scheduling systems preferred.Lean Six Sigma or process improvement training / certification preferred.Demonstrated ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on service quality and customer experience.Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
