The Role

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced operations leader to own the logistics and operational workflow execution of our mail order dispensing pharmacy. As Senior Manager, Fulfillment Operations, you will be responsible for the planning and oversight of facility layout, inventory movement, supply chain coordination, and inbound / outbound logistics ultimately ensuring an exceptional patient experience with our dispensing pharmacy. You will ensure the site is highly organized, efficient, and fully supplied to support pharmacy dispensing activities. In this role, you will lead a team of non-clinical support staff (e.g., inventory specialists, materials handlers, operational coordinators) and work in close partnership with licensed pharmacy leadership, including the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC), to provide seamless, compliant operational support.

What You'll Do

Operational Workflow Management

• Work with the pharmacy operations team (pharmacists / technicians) to meet / exceed daily SLAs and cut-off times; ensuring consistent, predictable operational performance.
• Oversee the physical flow of inventory and materials, including receiving, staging, storage, and support for outbound packaging workflows (excluding direct medication handling).
• Establish and maintain daily workflow processes, including station prep checklists, staging quotas, replenishment schedules, and end-of-day protocols.
• Monitor intraday throughput and fulfillment SLAs; dynamically adjust labor and employee assignments based on real-time performance data.

What You Need

7+ years of leadership experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics operations; experience in central fill pharmacy workflows or pharmaceutical inventory is preferred. Proven ability to optimize fulfillment operations and implement technology-driven improvements. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus. Strong people management skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams. Expertise in inventory control, supply logistics, and vendor relationship management. Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in warehouse systems, productivity dashboards (e.g. Tableau), and Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets. Must be located in or willing to relocate to the St. Louis, Missouri area (Chesterfield).
