Role Description
Order Lifecycle Management
- Accurately process and manage customer orders in the company’s ERP or order management system, ensuring all details are complete and accurate.
Quality Control
Verify order specifications including pricing, inventory availability, and shipping details.Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate closely with sales, finance, warehouse, supply chain, shipping, and customer service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.Tracking & Reporting
Maintain real-time order tracking, provide status updates, and prepare regular reports on order performance, fulfillment timelines, and issue trends.Problem Resolution
Investigate discrepancies, delays, or order challenges with urgency and professionalism, recommending proactive solutions.Returns & Adjustments
Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies.Process Improvement
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance order accuracy, and improve customer satisfaction.Critical Thinking
Apply structured analysis to prioritize tasks, anticipate issues, and propose operational efficiencies.Project Support
Where applicable, support special projects, including system upgrades, process documentation, and cross-team initiatives.Qualifications
Experience
3+ years in order management, customer service, logistics, supply chain, or similar operational role.Systems Knowledge
Proficiency with ERP or order management platforms (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle).Inventory & Fulfillment
Understanding of inventory management and supply chain coordination.Analytical Skills
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking ability to address complex order challenges.Project Management (Preferred)
Experience leading or supporting projects related to operations, workflows, or system improvements.Organizational Skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Customer Focus
Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of delivering exceptional customer service.Technical Proficiency
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP) and strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.Communication
Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence across departments.Collaboration
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.Adaptability
