What will you be doing?

Budget management : Diligently manages investment and expense budgets to maximize company profit potential
Performance management : Manages performance of each direct report and builds development plans that support growth and succession
Vendor partnership : Defines key vendor partnerships and establishes goals and identifies opportunities to capitalize on mutually beneficial ventures that align with respective positioning and strategy
Interdepartmental collaboration : Collaborates with Merchandise Planning, Operations, and Store Operations to align expectations, ensuring associates understand trends and identify potential opportunities
Market exploration : Travels markets to understand merchandise trends and uses the information to influence future strategy and vision
Buying oversight : Oversees the execution of preseason and in-season buying vision for each direct report, as well as the development of a lifecycle strategy, including pricing and exit plans
Strategic Leadership : Leads and maximizes smart verticalization opportunities, oversees the Product Review process to deliver trend-right stories, and guides seasonal Go-To-Market meetings

What makes you the perfect fit!

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; Master's degree preferred

8+ years buying experience required; previous DMM or GMM role preferred

5+ years managing buying teams preferred

Previous footwear experience required

Ability to travel (20-40%)
