Join a busy and fast-paced milling company in St. Paul as a pallet sorter! We're looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to help keep our production floor organized and efficient. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys staying active, working with a team, and contributing to a smooth-running operation. Location : St. Paul, MN Wage : $15 / hr + $1 / hr raise after 30 days Hours : 7 : 00 am 3 : 30 pm, Monday Friday Benefits of the pallet sorter : Medical, Dental and Vision coverage Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Life insurance Short- and long-term disability insurance Accident insurance Critical illness coverage Duties of the pallet sorter : Place boards and stringers in the appropriate racks according to size. Collect cardboard in the salvage area, band if necessary, and notify the foreman when bins need emptying. Gather plywood and transport it to the panel saw area. Sweep and maintain the sorting area throughout the day and at the end of the shift. Label all filled racks with the correct size before leaving the sorting area. Assist with cleanup in other areas if extra time is available. Clean around salvage area equipment in the morning if waiting for material from un-nailers. Requirements of the pallet sorter : Ability to follow detailed instructions Strong attention to safety, cleanliness, and organization Capable of standing for long periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and carrying Willingness to work as part of a team and assist across departments when needed Reliable and punctual Additional Information : Apply today!
