Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Serotonin. In this role, you will create and manage individualized care plans, provide medical spa treatments, and support patients in achieving their health and wellness goals. You will operate with attention to detail, clinical skill, and compassion. Beyond nursing responsibilities, you will also perform and oversee select aesthetic treatments , ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and client satisfaction.

ResponsibilitiesNursing Duties

• Coordinate with colleagues to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or reactions.
• Document patient conditions, maintain accurate medical records, and report changes to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director on standing orders, protocols, and compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current nursing practices and procedures.

Aesthetician Duties

• Perform aesthetic services such as facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, microneedling, and other approved treatments within scope of practice.
• Assist in administering medical-grade aesthetic procedures (e.g., injectables, laser services, IV therapy) under physician / medical director protocols.
• Educate clients on treatment plans, skincare regimens, and post-treatment care to optimize results.
• Promote retail skincare and wellness products to support patient outcomes and increase revenue.
• Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies to meet health and sanitation standards.
• Provide a premium client experience in line with Serotonins luxury med spa standards.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
• Previous experience in aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or med spa setting preferred.
• Certified in First Aid / CPR (required).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client care skills.
• Strong ability to educate patients and upsell additional treatments or products when appropriate.
• Passion for health, beauty, and wellness with a professional, client-centered approach.
