Gastroenterology Physician Locums Job in California Coverage Starting Fall / Winter 2025

We are seeking a gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage starting in November / December 2025. This position requires a California medical license and board certification or eligibility. The position is ongoing for a minimum of one week of outpatient coverage per month, with no weekend work. Advanced procedures are not required, but candidates must be proficient in upper and lower endoscopy and be comfortable performing 12-14 procedures per eight-hour shift.

Job Requirements for Assignment :

California license required

Board Certified / Eligible Gastroenterologist

Starting Fall 2025

Procedure schedule only with no call required

Seeking minimum of one week of outpatient coverage per month

No weekends

Ongoing work that will last throughout 2026

Advanced procedures not required

Two years of up-to-date case-logs required to apply

Candidates must be proficient in upper / lower scopes and be comfortable with 13-16 procedures per 8 hour shift
