Hourly pay rate : $20.00 to $30.00

A little about this position :

  • Provides safe, fun and interesting training for Big Mountain Freeride Ski athletes.
  • Will design, implement, evaluate and adjust season-long training and competition plans.
  • Teaches by example with frequent demonstrations.
  • Maintains accurate daily journal of training activities.
  • Maintains frequent contact with parents on athletic, behavioral and academic issues.
  • Will be required to travel with team to other areas for competitions. Promotes MMSST Team Philosophy and acts as role model for athletes.
  • Requirements :

  • IFSA Level 100 required. Two seasons working with athletes in a coaching program or previous Big Mountain competition experience preferred but not essential.
  • High School graduate and fluent in English language. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work in a team structure with other coaches and training groups. Must possess the ability to demonstrate Big Mountain riding techniques.
  • Must have knowledge or experience with Big Mountain competition rules.
  • Basic computer skills required and experience with Word, Excel and Google Docs programs
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
