Respiratory Therapist - NICU- FT (Nights)

Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy. Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care. Performs duties as assigned.Qualifications :  Education : Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.Licensure : Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.Experience : None.Certifications : Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.Other : Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used : All appropriate respiratory care devices. Preferred Education : Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred Experience : Prefer critical care experience. Loan Repayment Assistance Program up to $20,000 Lifetime : The Respiratory Loan Repayment Assistance Program provides financial support to our Mercy Respiratory co-workers in a 24X7 hospital based eligible position who are in a .4 FTE and above, working 32 hours or more per pay period. The program offers monthly payments made directly to the loan servicer up to the amount of $370 per month and up to $20,000 for a lifetime maximum.
