HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Costa Mesa, California.

Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location : Costa Mesa, CA
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Day Shift, 5x8-hour (12 : 00 PM – 8 : 30 PM), variable days Monday-Saturday
Job Responsibilities :
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including bone scans, 3 phase, limited, whole body, shunt, abdominal, ventricular, myocardial studies, and others.
Conduct specialized scans such as PET scans, thyroid studies, liver imaging, renal flow, brain scans, HIDA scans, and gastric emptying.
Utilize equipment from GE, Phillips, Siemens for imaging and tumor localization.
Maintain patient care standards including drawing venous blood, starting / maintaining IVs, isolation precautions, and handling radioactive materials.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Radiology, Lift Teams, Rapid Response, and Transportation.
Support research PET scans involving investigational ligands.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience
Valid State Nuclear Medicine Technologist license (CA State License required)
ARRT N certification
CNMT certification
NMTCB certification
BLS certification
Experience with nuclear cardiology, SPECT, and various nuclear medicine procedures
Ability to work independently and maintain proper safety protocols
EPIC charting system experience preferred
Preferred Skills and Qualifications : \nARRT R certification\nPET certification\nTrauma Level I and II experience preferred\nTeaching hospital experience preferred\nManagement or lead experience a plus\nExperience with diagnostic CTs preferred
