Purpose
The Planner Scheduler is responsible for source selection and procurement functions directly associated with the company’s needs for indirect materials and services and select production materials and services to include stamping fasteners, formed wire, steel tube, and welded assemblies. These products and services are to be secured at a cost quality and at delivery competitive levels consistent with company policy and performance standards. This position is further responsible for the development and implementation of a commodity strategy for the commodities within the scope of the role.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting with occasional plant floor visits and observation.
