The Medical Short-Stay Unit (MSU) is a dynamic 38-bed medical-surgical unit where you will thrive in a fast-paced environment. Here, we specialize in caring for patients with anticipated stays of five days or less. With telemetry monitoring, negative pressure rooms, and a collaborative care model, you will work alongside dedicated providers and strong nurse leadership to ensure seamless patient experiences.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered clinical care.
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, utilizing comprehensive data.
• Communicate and document assessments with the interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and document individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
• Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Revise care plans based on ongoing evaluations and update documentation.
• Complete at least one clinical research utilization (CRU) form annually.

Physical Requirements

This role involves medium work, requiring the ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently. Frequent walking, standing, or squatting is also necessary.

Compensation

Pay Range : $37.18 - $49.92

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. It may be modified in the future and is eligible for additional pay components based on experience, qualifications, specialty, and location.
