Maintenance Electrician – Food Processing Machinery

Murry’s, Inc. and Sunny Lane Foods & Nardone's Pizza (Divisions of the MBC Companies) manufacturers and distributors of frozen food products located in Lebanon; Pennsylvania & Wilkes-Barre; Pennsylvania are currently seeking Maintenance Electricians due to facility expansions. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components on food processing equipment. Ensuring the production machinery operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Maintenance & Repair
• Install and troubleshoot electrical wiring, circuits, and control panels on food processing machines (e.g., mixers, conveyors, packaging equipment)
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning components such as motors, relays, switches, and sensors
• Replace or upgrade faulty electronic parts including printed circuit boards
• Preventive Maintenance
• Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, and adjustments to minimize downtime
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment including refrigeration systems and HVAC units
• Machine Setup & Support
• Assist in machine setup and calibration during production line changes
• Support installation of new machinery and ensure proper power supply connections
• Compliance & Safety
• Follow all electrical codes, blueprints, and schematic diagrams
• Adhere to food safety protocols and sanitation standards in work areas
• Use lockout / tagout procedures and wear appropriate PPE
• Facility Maintenance
• Maintain and repair building systems including lighting, plumbing, and ventilation
