Overview
Cranbrook Educational Community was founded by Detroit philanthropists George and Ellen Booth in 1904 and is a leading center of education, science, and art. Cranbrook includes a graduate Academy of Art, contemporary Art Museum, Center for Collections and Research, House and Gardens, Institute of Science, and more than 1,600 students in Pre-K through 12 independent college preparatory Schools. Position
Cranbrook Schools is seeking part-time Private Music Teachers to teach lessons at various grade levels. Instructors focus on scales, arpeggios, etudes, solo, and chamber music literature. Families contact the instructor to request lessons, sign a contract, and schedule a mutually convenient time for the student and instructor.
Notes
Note : This is not a full-time or consistent part-time position; lessons are by appointment only and instructors are paid bi-weekly for lessons taught. Pay rate is $35 per 30-minute lesson.
