Job Title :   Oracle ADMS  Solutions Architect

Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) from Oracle

A highly scalable and reliable ADMS delivers on all aspects of real-time distribution monitoring, optimization, and control. Oracle Utilities Network Management System (NMS) is the preferred single pane of glass for distribution operators.

Location : Remote During Contract but must be willing to be onsite daily once converted in either Las, Vegas, NV; Portland; or Des Moines, IA

Duration :   6 Month Contract to Hire

Position Overview :

Serve as the primary subject matter expert and technical lead for the rollout, integration, and sustainment of the Oracle ADMS (NMS / OMS / DERMS) platform across multiple utility affiliates. Act as the technical gatekeeper, business liaison, and key integrator for infrastructure and application components.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of Kubernetes clusters and Oracle NMS / ADMS solutions.
• Oversee integration with outage management, SCADA, and other utility systems.
• Manage and automate certificate management and code deployment processes, with flexibility to introduce new automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible).
• Guide and mentor junior engineers and serve as the primary technical resource for the app dev team.
• Collaborate with OT, generation, distribution, transmission, and outage management teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
• Participate in design and planning for future affiliate rollouts, adapting the blueprint as needed for each environment.
• Provide technical guidance and course correction during sustainment, including handling challenging conversations when necessary.   Required Skills & Experience :
• Strong experience with ADMS, NMS, OMS, or related utility management systems (utility industry experience highly preferred)
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes cluster management and Linux environments.
• Experience with Oracle database and WebLogic server administration, including certificate management.
• Automation experience (Python, Ansible, or similar) for deployment and certificate processes.
• Ability to act as a business liaison and communicate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Outspoken, able to set direction and maintain alignment with the big picture, including managing tough conversations.

Oracle's new   Oracle Utilities Network Management System   (NMS) features to help control room operators and program managers manage distributed energy resources (DERs) throughout their lifecycle. These ADMS enhancements help utilities alleviate grid stress through better demand response and DER management while optimizing performance using both front-of-the-meter and behind-the-meter data and tools. New innovations also help users address increasing extreme weather events with rapid response, restoration, and decentralization.
