Business Development Manager
Velociti is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys prospecting, building relationships from the ground up, and driving new business opportunities. Youll play a key role in expanding our client base by identifying and engaging potential customers, qualifying leads, and supporting the sales pipeline. Were looking for someone who is self-motivated, competitive, and thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
Responsibilities :
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting (cold calls, email outreach, networking)
- Qualify leads and schedule introductory meetings with decision-makers
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects using CRM tools
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads
- Track activity and performance metrics to meet or exceed targets
- Maintain a strong understanding of our services and industry trends
Qualifications :
Minimum 2 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or lead generationProven ability to generate leads and build relationships through cold outreachExperience selling in the facilities services industry is preferredthis includes janitorial services, one-time jobs or projects, maintenance, and engineering servicesStrong verbal and written communication skillsComfortable working independently and as part of a teamBachelors degree requiredMarketing knowledge or experience is a plusIndustry-specific experience not required, but a willingness to learn quickly is essentialWhat We Offer :
