Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Vascular Sonographer Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for an inpatient and outpatient vascular clinic, requiring ARDMS RVT or CCI RVS certification and EPIC experience. Responsibilities Work in both outpatient and inpatient vascular clinics serving all ages Daily shift from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM with a weekend rotation and alternate Thursdays off when working weekends No on-call or call-back requirements Patients per day : 8-12 vascular studies Common cases include PVD, CAD, heart failure, CVA, venous insufficiency, renal / celiac / SMA stenosis, renal transplant, and thoracic outlet syndrome Procedures include carotid, arterial, venous, DVT / reflux studies, vein mapping, renal / mesenteric / AAA evaluation, endograft surveillance, upper / lower PVR / segmental pressures, and hemodialysis grafts Equipment used includes Philips Epic Elite, Parks PVR / Segmental Pressure machines, and VascuPro reporting system EPIC EMR experience required May float to High Point outpatient vascular lab as needed Support provided by department leadership and peers Department maintains a traveler-friendly, teamwork-oriented environment Three days of departmental orientation provided Holiday coverage required only for Thanksgiving and Christmas Day Time off must be approved prior to contract acceptance; otherwise, at manager discretion with four weeks' notice Black scrubs required Free parking available Requirements Minimum 2 years of dedicated vascular ultrasound experience required Current BLS certification required ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or CCI Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) required Demonstrated proficiency in vascular ultrasound procedures as listed EPIC EMR experience required License required if applicable First-time travelers will be considered Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-603554.
