Job Description & Requirements Specialty : CT Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 10 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel CT Technologist Requisition Number : Order SUM-2681 Job Title : CT Tech / CT Technologist Job Type : Long-Term Assignment (LTA) Location : Barberton, OH, 44203 Department : CAT SCAN (1300 75201) Reason for Requisition : Open Need Assignment & Scheduling Details : Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day Shift (07 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM) Shift Length : 12 hours On-Call : Required Critical Order Priority : 1 (High Priority) Job Summary : The CT Technologist operates Computerized Tomography (CT) and Radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic CT scans and radiographs under indirect supervision. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate diagnostic procedure results and involves assisting with invasive procedures as needed. The technologist works closely with Radiologists to evaluate images and determine the need for additional views. Key Responsibilities : Equipment Operation : Calibrate and operate CT and Radiologic equipment, ensuring proper patient positioning and utilization of restraining devices. Diagnostic Imaging : Produce diagnostic CT scans and radiographs, evaluating images in consultation with the Radiologist and acquiring additional images as necessary. Record Management : Ensure all aspects of patient records are processed properly to initiate and record procedure results in a timely manner. Patient Care : Administer intravenous injections of contrast media and handle patient lifting and positioning. Must possess the ability to effectively interact with diverse patient populations with dignity and respect. Procedural Assistance : Assist with procedures of an invasive nature as training and skills allow. Emergency Response : Must be trained and ready to initiate CPR (CPR Certification is required). Minimum Qualifications Formal Education : Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiologic Technology . Licensure : Must be licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio . Registry : Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) . Experience : One (1) year of Radiology Technology experience is preferred . CT Registry : Ability to obtain CT Registry (ARRT-CT) within one year of hire. Skills : Ability to communicate effectively, utilize computer and file systems for patient records, and demonstrate the manual dexterity necessary for equipment operation and patient procedures.
