Status : Part-time, Hybrid
Schedule : M-F, 15-20 hours per week
Salary : $25 per hour
Position Summary
Younity is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Grant Writer to support our mission by securing funding from foundations and corporate partners. This role manages the full grant lifecycle—from research and proposal development to tracking, reporting, and stewardship. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, highly organized, and comfortable collaborating across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and submit foundation and corporate grant proposals and reports
- Research new funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and other institutional funders
- Collaborate with the VP of Development & Communications and program staff to develop proposals
- Work with the VP of Finance to prepare accurate grant budgets
- Maintain and update a comprehensive Grants Calendar, including deadlines, revenue targets, and outcomes
- Submit approximately 8 proposals or reports per month
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in grant writing and grants management within a nonprofit or government agencyExcellent written, verbal, and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, online grant submission systems, and databasesAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamCompletion of Younity’s 50-hour Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Training within the first year of employment, or valid certificate from another agency (required)Valid driver’s license (required)To Apply
