About The Position

Job Title : CT Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Hours per Shift : 10

Experience : Minimum 2 years of CT experience required

License : Indiana State License (accepts pending)

Certifications : BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced Certification

Must-Have : Required to start IVs and administer contrast

Community hospital experience required

Siemens and FUJI PACS experience preferred

Description :

Shift from 9 AM to 7 PM.

Types of cases required include abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CT angiograms, and multiplanar reconstruction.

Preferred cases include aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, and myelography.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Weekend work is required.

On-call duties are required.

Floating within scope to meet facility needs is not required.

Candidates must work two out of three major holidays.

Locals are accepted.

Pending state licenses are not accepted.

Additional qualifications include the ability to handle emergency room patients, in-patients, and out-patients.

Experience with various CT exams and patient diagnoses is necessary.

Candidates should be familiar with charting systems, specifically Cerner.

All qualifications and certifications must be in hand prior to the start date.
