Senior Contract Specialist / Analyst (contingent)

LOCATION : Colorado Springs, CO

SUMMARY :

The Senior Contract Analyst will support the Defense Health Agency (DHA), responsible for executing and operating the DoD medical mission to provide medical services and support to eligible individuals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Exceptional knowledge of all phases of acquisition management.
• Knowledge of price and cost analysis to review proposals, historical data, expenditures, and rates for price reasonableness and negotiation strategies.
• Skills in fact-finding, analysis, problem resolution, and developing actionable plans.
• Deep understanding of Federal and DoD contracting principles, including FAR, DFARS, DoD directives, laws, and regulations.
• Ability to provide expert technical advice, coordinate staff efforts, and interpret guidelines effectively.
