We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assembly Shop Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position within our fast-paced manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in assembly, with a strong commitment to quality, productivity, and team performance.
Responsibilities :
As an Assembly Shop Technician, your key responsibilities will include :
1. Assembling, testing, and repairing various parts and equipment according to specified procedures and standards.
2. Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
3. Using a variety of hand and power tools to assemble components.
4. Performing quality checks to ensure that assembled products meet quality standards and specifications.
5. Troubleshooting assembly issues and implementing effective solutions.
6. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
7. Collaborating with team members to improve assembly processes and achieve production goals.
8. Documenting assembly actions by completing production and quality forms.
9. Providing feedback and suggestions to improve efficiency and reduce assembly time.
10. Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications :
To be considered for the Assembly Shop Technician role, you must possess the following qualifications :
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in assembly within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
5. Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
6. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
8. A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
9. High school diploma or equivalent. A technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
10. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the manufacturing industry.
