Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical night shift position in an acute care setting, requiring a WV or compact RN license and strong Med / Surg skills.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an acute care Medical Surgical unit
  • Night shift schedule from 1900-0730 with weekends and holidays as scheduled
  • 13-week assignment with 12-hour shifts
  • Uses the Epic charting system
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
  • May be required to cover holiday shifts as scheduled
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • No local travelers accepted
  • Individuals previously employed as travelers in the WVU system for a year or more must have a 2-year break before reapplying

  • Active WV or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years recent Med / Surg nursing experience
  • Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Drivers license address must be outside a 50-mile radius from facility
  • Previous permanent staff or travelers must have a 2-year break before returning
