The Studio Asset Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining all brand creative assets within the Creative Services Department, ensuring their accessibility, quality, and organization across marketing, e-commerce, and wholesale channels. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to support photo shoots, post-production workflows, and asset delivery, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to brand standards. The Studio Asset Manager oversees file management, metadata tagging, and seasonal asset organization, and ensures timely distribution of images and videos to internal stakeholders. Additionally, this role supports special projects including migrations, file archiving, and validation, helping to streamline the Creative Services Department's operational efficiency and maintain the integrity of Lafayette 148 New York's visual assets.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and maintain brand creative assets for Creative Services Department.
- Partner with marketing team to ensure accessibility of comprehensive system of creative assets.
- Ensure image quality in retouching and mark-ups for e com.
- Create photo shot list for all shoots (catalog, web, wholesale), including metadata tagging, and keep record of item shoot status : report status cross functionally.
- Support Photo styling team in ensuring all items requested have been shot, processed and labeled correctly in the appropriate folder (including pre-selects, color correction notes, and alternate shot locations).
- Organize contact sheets and send them to key players after each shoot.
- Manage post production delivery and timelines of externally created assets.
- Create and organize seasonal file structure, aligned to Lafayette 148 New York tiered photo asset strategy.
- Keep thorough records of all image requests in the Wholesale photo request log.
- When necessary, resize images to meet web and print template specs.
- Support daily file management functions as well as special projects including; migrations, file archive on-boarding, validation and purging.
- Route PDP images to ensure cross functional key players have given input on product accuracy and images are reviewed by senior members.
- Upload seasonal editorial videos to YouTube to share with Performance Marketing
Skills :
Required knowledge of : Global edit Studio, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Photoshop, PowerPoint, Microsoft OutlookDesired knowledge of : Final Cut Pro, Capture OneComprehensive understanding of photography, video, and social media file formats and terminology.Image editing skills (cropping and resizing images).Excellent verbal and written communication.Meticulous attention to detail and organized with excellent follow up skills (a must).Strong time management and ability to multi-task priorities (a must).Must be a self-starter able to interact across departmental divisions and integrate / collaborate with them to obtain answers to questions as they arise.Must be extremely detail-focused and a team player.Ability to manage expectations, set deadlines, and follow up on projects with a strong sense of urgency.Desired Background :

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, and location.
