Position Type : Full-Time

Work Hours :

MondayThursday : 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

Friday : 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM

Closed weekends and all recognized holidays

Daily 1-hour lunch break (12 : 00 PM 1 : 00 PM)

Location : Kokomo or Marion, Indiana (Candidate will choose preferred site upon hiring)

Setting : Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)

Role Overview :

We are currently hiring an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee and direct the operations of a retail pharmacy serving the community through an FQHC. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a collaborative team while maintaining a consistent weekday scheduleno weekends or holiday shifts required.

As Pharmacy Manager, you'll be responsible for operational leadership, compliance, team management, and driving pharmacy performance in alignment with healthcare goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage pharmacy operations, including staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and ongoing personnel development

Accurately review and fill prescriptions while working closely with medical providers to ensure patient safety and care continuity

Control inventory of medications and controlled substances, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations

Maintain detailed records for inventory, prescriptions, insurance claims, and controlled drugs

Oversee pharmacy layout and customer-facing areas, addressing patient concerns and ensuring a welcoming environment

Support the development of new pharmacy locations and offer telepharmacy assistance as needed

Report to executive leadership on operational progress and staff development needs

Qualifications :

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited institution

Active and unrestricted Indiana pharmacist license

Certified to administer immunizations

At least 3 years of pharmacy leadership or management experience strongly preferred

Familiarity with 340B drug pricing program or prior experience in a Community Health Center is a plus
