In this role, you will design, develop, build, and test photonic systems that are key to our products. You will also interact with device, hardware, and software design teams to assist in the overall development of photonic systems, specifying, selecting, and qualifying the various components necessary.

Responsibilities

• Design high-performance photonics devices suitable for high-volume manufacturing
• Actively collaborate across disciplines-with analog, digital, and physical design teams-to layout photonic devices for key test and product tape outs
• Work with the photonics test team in defining requirements for device characterization, debug and validation
• Analyze characterization data to ensure the device / system meets the specifications
• Engage in problem solving and contributing with novel architectural ideas
• Publish and novel ideas related to photonics, and participate in premier optics / photonics conferences

We offer competitive compensation. The base salary range for this role determined based on location, experience, educational background, and market data.

Salary Range

$175,000-$210,000 USD
