A company is looking for a Category Specialist for Bakery Deli in Richmond, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate competitive information to sales teams and create informative sales materials

Coordinate customer training and assist with sales presentations and proposals

Travel to call on customers, solicit orders, and report competitive information and category trends

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent applicable experience required

5-7 years of related experience and / or training in sales and business development

Understanding of sales programs, promotions, and margin profitability

Proficiency with computer systems and applications, especially Word and Excel

Retail / Wholesale experience is a plus
